The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the largest voluntary health organization. Hashtag Cinema created a fundraiser video to help raise more money for the cause. The LLS’s goal is to fund research for cures and to make sure those with blood cancers receive the treatment they need. Hashtag Cinema had the opportunity to work with this amazing foundation to create a video show casing some of those who benefited from this organization. As well as informing those who are not aware of the diseases or the foundation and how they can help by donating to this amazing foundation that has touched the lives of thousands who suffer from these horrible diseases.
We met with some of the survivors Carlos Hernandez, Anya Davis and Marissa Paddie to give them the opportunity to share their amazing stories with the world.
is a young man who suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He tells us his story and how the LLS foundation helped him and his family with both medical and emotional support. We are glad to say that he is now in remission and is able to enjoy his favorite thing in this world, golf.
was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of nine. With the help of the LLS foundation Anya is in remission. Anya has built up her strength and can now enjoy and continue to pressure her passion of swimming.
also suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and has been fighting her hardest to battle this disease. The LLS assisted her to get the help they needed to give Marissa a fighting chance. With their help Marissa now has the strength to continue her dream of becoming a singer.
